As the Chief Lending Officer, Ms. Suggs leads the organization’s strategic lending program and works to increase CDF’s impact across the Cincinnati region.
Her responsibilities include leading CDF’s Lending Team responsible for lead generation, loan origination, underwriting, and monitoring performance over the life of the loan. She also oversees CDF’s construction management and asset management functions. Suggs is charged with fostering relationships with community, government, business, and philanthropic partners, and for developing and managing a loan portfolio that advances the organization’s 33-year legacy of promoting community revitalization and affordable housing development through mission-driven lending programs.
Ms. Suggs’ varied career includes mortgage lending and underwriting, small business lending, relationship management, coaching and mentoring.
